Our Guest Rooms

Named after our oldest niece, The Jennifer Room is the only guest room on the first floor. Like all of our rooms, The Jennifer Room has its own in-room bathroom. Its warmth is enhanced by a queen sized canopy bed and hardwood floors. Located on the front of the house, it has a lovely view of the town and the mountains beyond. This room is ideal for folks with mobility issues who cannot climb the stairs.

Located upstairs on the front of the house and named for our only daughter, this room has a lovely view of the town and the mountains. It is an extremely comfortable room with a large bathroom, 19” television, and a side loveseat sofa. As is the case with all of our rooms, The Betsy Room has its own in-room bathroom and queen sized bed. Due to the configuration of the rooms in the house, this bathroom is slightly larger than the others, making it ideal for longer stays.

While this room was named for another niece, it has also been called “The Lees-McRae Room” since it is decorated in the colors of Lees-McRae College. Located upstairs on the east side of the house, the morning sun pours in through the windows as you enjoy the view of the mountains. As with all of our guest rooms, The Stephanie Room has a queen sized bed and its own in-room bathroom.

Named after our niece who studied hard to become a vet, this room appropriately offers a queen sized bed and an antique side desk and antique rocker. These items, along with the large in-room bathroom, make this a very comfortable place to enjoy one night or a week!

This very comfortable room is slightly smaller than the others, but offers all the same amenities such as a queen sized bed, cable TV, an antique rocker and in-room bathroom. Named for our only son, it is decorated in a beautiful shade of blue with a matching hand-made quilt. While accomodating two people very nicely, this room is great for folks traveling alone.
